We’re hiring: Senior Manual Tester

WATA Factory is looking for a Senior Manual Tester (m/f/d) to join our team and develop projects with us.

YOUR ROLE WITH US

  • Conception and development of solutions with manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Improvement of tests of existing projects and development of new scenarios.
  • Development of innovative solutions
  • Participation in agile teams.
  • Being part of a testing team that is continually improving the company.
  • Quality-check of the developments of different teams.
  • Testing with the goal of maintaining and improving existing international products with worldwide impact.
  • Testing in medium and long-term projects.
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams, with colleagues from the scientific field.
  • Understand, prepare and execute a testing plan.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Computer Engineering or proven equivalent education.
  • Several years of manual testing experience.
  • Ability to independently perform risk analysis and trade-offs as part of testing activities.
  • Ability to independently modify JSON objects and understand the data types being modified.
  • Good knowledge of test execution documentation and its benefits.
  • Knowledge of test automation.
  • Experience of JIRA and Xray.
  • Independent reading of database records.
  • Understanding of code / error logs / network responses.
  • Enthusiasm for current trends.
  • Good written and spoken English (level B1/B2 or above). Knowledge of German would be desirable.
