We’re hiring: iOS/Android native Developer

WATA Factory is looking for an Android/iOS native Developer to join our team and develop projects with us. At least B2 level in English is required.

In 2018, WATA Factory set itself the goal of becoming a reference software consulting company in terms of code quality. Therefore, we decided to focus on good development methods and make them the core of the company.

The teams are made up of senior developers and are constantly growing, which guarantees the highest quality standards.

YOUR ROLE WITH US

  • Maintenance and ongoing development of a native application library (and test applications) and the associated backend system.
  • The library is integrated with transport companies for copy-protected ticket purchases and is of high importance due to the nationwide Deutschlandticket.
  • The product is hosted on AWS.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Computer Engineering or proven equivalent education.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the development of mobile applications.
  • Very good knowledge of native development (Android and/or iOS).
  • Ideally also knowledge of web development in Spring Boot.
  • Test automation skills would also be useful, as new releases of the app library will need to be automatically tested in a device farm.
  • AWS skills would be good but not essential.
  • The motivation to constantly learn new things.
  • Knowledge and experience in version control tools (Git/Bitbucket, SVN, usw.).
  • Self-confidence, methodical and good communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for current trends.
  • Good level of written and spoken English (Level B2 or higher). Knowledge of German would be desirable.
