Every December, something curious happens in the office: the atmosphere changes. Maybe it’s the lights, the sweets, or simply that end-of-year feeling, but our Christmas All Hands always has something special about it.
We’ll celebrate it on December 11 and 12, and this year it comes with a mix of content and moments designed to enjoy, connect, and close the year in harmony.
In the days leading up to it, the office is already filled with Christmas spirit. The decorations are up, and our tree stands out in particular — a corner full of small thank-you notes written by the team.
The idea is to keep adding to it during the All Hands, because this time of year invites exactly that: to give thanks, to recognise one another, and, why not, to smile at what others appreciate about our work and who we are.
Although this Christmas event is less academic than the previous one, we’ll still have some talks focused on interesting topics. Among them: a presentation of the Helpdesk team’s new tool and the session “From Story to Endpoint: Principles and Conventions in REST APIs.”
Between sessions, coffees, spontaneous chats, and a few Christmas treats — including the classic roscón de reyes — will set a relaxed and friendly rhythm.
And as every year, the social side will have its own spotlight: we’ll enjoy a festive lunch at a restaurant in the centre of Jerez, with authentic local food.
It’s the perfect moment to switch off a bit, share some laughs, and continue building that camaraderie that makes everything work so well.
Of course, the traditional Secret Santa won’t be missing — always bringing humour, surprises, and those small, memorable details that stay with the team.
And speaking of surprises… there will be a few extra ones this year. We can’t reveal them yet, but we’re eager to share them with you and the rest of the team — who, by the way, also don’t know what’s coming!
This All Hands will be a celebration of our people and our shared work — a space to close the year together, appreciate what we’ve built, and head into the final stretch with good energy.
Everything else — the talks, the roscón, the tree, and the surprises — will simply accompany that spirit.
