We are hiring: DevOps Engineer

WATA Factory is looking for a DevOps Engineer Senior to join our team and develop projects with us. Experience in Azure and at least B2 level in English is required.

In 2018, WATA Factory set itself the goal of becoming a reference software consulting company in terms of code quality. Therefore, we decided to focus on good development methods and make them the core of the company.

The teams are made up of senior developers and are constantly growing, which guarantees the highest quality standards.

YOUR TASKS

  • Migration and operation of complex public cloud infrastructures and applications (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Migrating customer systems to cloud applications and systems, such as Kubernetes.
  • Standardization and automation, for example, using Ansible, Terraform or Helm.
  • Development of cloud platforms and improvement of existing platforms using methods of the DevOps philosophy.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Computer Engineering or proven equivalent education.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Elastic, Git, Jira and CI/CD.
  • Work experience with cloud providers like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
  • Basic knowledge of networks and security.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Java) and Python.
  • Experience in version control tools (Git/Bitbucket, SVN, etc.).
  • Self-confidence, methodical and good communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for current trends.
  • Good level of written and spoken English (Level B2 or higher). Knowledge of German would be desirable.
