We are hiring: Cloud Engineer

At WATA Factory we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with knowledge of Azure services to join our team and develop projects with us. At least B2 level in English is required.

In 2018, WATA Factory set itself the goal of becoming a reference software consulting company in terms of code quality. Therefore, we decided to focus on good development methods and make them the core of the company.

The teams are made up of senior developers and are constantly growing, which guarantees the highest quality standards.

YOUR TASKS

  • Migration and operation of complex public cloud infrastructures and applications (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Further standardisation and automation via Powershell, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Administration and optimisation of q.beyond and customer IT environments.
  • Support our customers regarding to incident, change and problem management.
  • Support in the implementation of Cloud migration projects through the creation of code.
  • Close collaboration with our customers, our cloud solution architects and other departments in all phases of (agile) projects.
  • Contribute your ideas and actively shape the future of the q.beyond and our customers IT landscapes.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Computer Engineering or proven equivalent education.
  • Senior Cloud Engineer with experience (+3 years) in implementing Cloud Solutions.
  • Experience in setting up and migrate Azure infrastructures.
  • Public cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure) are a plus.
  • High-level analytical, problem-solving and planning skills.
  • High interest in new technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible etc.) and in personal development.
  • Good level of written and spoken English (Level B2 or higher). Knowledge of German would be desirable.
