Ibérica Labs Returns to WATA Factory: Continuous Monitoring, Observability and a Data-Driven Culture

On March 5th, we will celebrate a new edition of Ibérica Labs at WATA Factory. It will be a day dedicated to something that, for us, is essential: taking a moment to pause, analyze how we are working, and find real ways to do it better.

In this edition, we will focus on an area that is already key in any modern technological environment: understanding what is really happening in our systems at all times, with reliable data.

Continuous Quality, Intelligent Alerting and Real-Time Data

In this edition, we will work on continuous monitoring and observability — two pillars that are now essential in any technological environment. Because building software is only one part of the equation. Having real visibility into what happens in production is what enables sound decision-making.

During the session, we will address the collection and centralization of metrics and logs from different applications in order to analyze them as a complete ecosystem. We will also dive deeper into creating dashboards and reporting with Grafana, with a clear objective: building panels that help us understand and act — not just display data.

Another key focus will be the monitoring of automated tests as part of continuous quality. We aim to go beyond the isolated result of a pipeline and start identifying patterns, trends, and anomalous behavior before they turn into real incidents.

We will also work on designing an effective alerting system, aimed at anticipating problems and reducing response times. In addition, we will review the use of monitoring agents to obtain real-time data and strengthen end-to-end observability.

It will be a highly practical session, but also a strategic one. We want to continue fostering a culture where monitoring is not just reactive, but preventive and data-driven.

Why We Keep Betting on Ibérica Labs

At WATA Factory, we believe learning cannot be a one-time event. Technology evolves far too quickly to rely solely on external training or accumulated project experience.

Ibérica Labs allows us to create a space where the team can research, experiment, fail fast, and validate new ideas without the direct pressure of delivery. It is a direct way to improve what we do every day and to continue building more solid, more efficient, and more sustainable solutions.

March 5th will be another opportunity to pause, analyze, test, and improve.

Because the best solutions do not come from code alone. They come from teams who understand what they build, question how they build it, and never stop learning.
